My Trash to Treasure Tuesday

Today is trash to treasure over @ Diane's blog at http://diane1876.blogspot.com/ I am trying to make this a weekly event but life seems to creep up on me at times. I found this precious urn at a thrift store in Omaha a couple of weeks ago. The crazing on the piece is absolutely beautiful and it matched another piece that I have had for quite some time. It sits in on our dresser and I am thinking about filling it with scarves, pearles, long necklaces and let them flow over the top. What do you think?
Blessings
Roxanne

Roxanne, I'm so glad you joined us today for T to T Tuesday! I think you have a real find there... I love white china... and this will not only be pretty but practical. Think of all the wonderful things that can go in it for each season! So neat!

Thanks for sharing...

Hello Roxanne...

This is my first time to your blog...I followed your link for Tuesday's "Trash to Treasure...so happy to meet you!

I just adore your urn...love the creamy white color and the shape of it! I think it would be gorgeous with your pretty scarves and pearls, etc. flowing out and over the sides of it!

I noticed that you said you found it in Omaha...I assume Omaha, Nebraska? I have family that grew up south of there in Fairbury, Ne.

Warmest wishes...
Chari

I love the finish on the urn. I went to a charity auction Fri. and bid on and won an ironstone platter with the same patena. It has gold trim around the edge. I enjoy trash to treasure, but didn,t participate today.
