2nd Time Around

Diane over at A Picture is worth a thousand words is having a second time around party today. You can visit her @ http://diane1876.blogspot.com/. Here is my second time around project for today. I had seen on a wedding blog not long ago how they had taken crystal bowls, platters, etc and gorilla glued them on to candle sticks. IT WORKS!!
It was probable one of my favorite projects and I love love the results.
I already had the platter, small bowl and one of the candle sticks so my total cost involved was about $6.00 for three magnificent trays.
My husband told me he loved them but didn't plan on using them to serve any of his "bunny" in but that they were cool. He has been into making bunny in different recipes.
Blessings
Roxanne

What fun. You had some great results. I like all three. I've seen some tragic looking redos before. Enjoy!

You can do that? I am going to run to the hardware store and buy gorilla glue and do that. I have those exact same glass candlesticks and glass plates. I love the look of elevations on a buffet or island. Thanks for the tip! Blessings.

Roxanne,
I love the results too! I'm going to start searching at the thrift stores for pieces that will work with this idea.

Thanks so much for linking to 2nd Time Around!

Good job! I think they're much more versatile.

Hi Roxanne! What beautiful treasures you've created. I love them. I really like the old glass...I have several pieces that I use...don't think I'd want to glue it together...but, maybe some pieces that I'm not sentimental about...now what did I do with that gorilla glue???!!!
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings, Susie
